Healthy relationships are not just a blessing! They require a lot of effort too. People who understand the importance of a healthy relationship and know what goes into it to make one, would know that any kind of violence is a definite death sentence to a relationship.  But this is about people who already know the meaning of a healthy relationship! What about those who do not know about it at all? For e.g kids, teens, consistent victims of domestic, sexual or dating abuse, will these youngsters ever know what it is to experience a healthy relationship on their own?

To bridge this gap and end relationship violence, LIVERESPECT pledge was launched by NFL Players Association, Verizon Foundation and A CALL TO MEN to educate teens on the importance of healthy relationships. By pledging support to LIVERESPECT, one chooses to report or speak out about any violence that they witness or experience.  NFL Coach Sean Payton extended his support and pledged to end relationship violence recently. NFL has been closely associated with LIVERESPECT and since it has a huge fan following, reaching the teens a educating them becomes an achievable task.

Teens are the future of any nation and taking care that they are well informed about the trivial things plays a crucial role in shaping their future. Giving them the courage to stand up against violence and teaching them to end relationship violence as soon as it even starts is all one needs to do to make them mature inhabitants of a society.

Asking someone out is an incredibly nerve-wracking experience, especially if you’re working against tradition and it’s the girl asking the guy. But guys generally love it when girls take the initiative, so it’s always worth braving the nerves. The sheer confidence of the act is bound to be a big turn-on from the beginning. However, you do still have to ask them out in the right way! Here are the dos and don’ts of asking out a guy, whether you’re doing it through online dating Bristol websites or in a bar…

DO find ways to bump into them; DON’T look like a stalker
If you really like someone, the best way to ask them out is face-to-face. Unfortunately, it’s not always so easy to get someone in the right place and at the right time. Therefore, what you have to do is find out where they hang out – what are their interests and hobbies? Where are they most likely to be? Then, try and bump into them as much as possible. However, you need to ensure they don’t feel like they’re being stalked – that will definitely put them off!

DO test the water; DON’T leap into it
Now you keep bumping into each other, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to talk. Try to be as subtle as possible at first and don’t leap into anything. Test the water by going slowly and seeing their reaction – are they being encouraging? Are they enthusiastic about talking to you? If you’re getting very negative signals you might want to opt out altogether. Also test the water for yourself. Through small talk you should aim to establish if this really is someone you want to go out with.

DO flirt; DON’T be over the top
If you’re receiving positive signals through your conversations and you’re now 100% sure this is someone you want to date, start flirting. Through their reactions you’ll be able to tell immediately if they’re interested in being more than friends. Laugh at their jokes, maintain eye contact and casually touch their arm mid-conversation. However, don’t go over the top by putting your hands all over them and making them feel uncomfortable!

DO seize opportunities; DON’T be too blunt
If the flirting got a green light, it’s time to move in for the kill and ask them out. You should have done plenty of digging by now and should know quite a lot about them. Choose one of your mutual interests and use it as a dating opportunity – if you’re both into Hitchcock films, for example, mention a Hitchcock marathon that’s on in a couple of weeks and ask them to tag along. This will be easy on dating websites where interests are often listed in people’s profiles. This is a much more casual approach than coming out with a blunt ‘will you go out with me’ and will be met with a much warmer response – being too blunt will put most guys off.

DO ask guys out girls; but DON’T mess it up! Stick to these rules and you’ll be fine.

You do not want to believe it, but you are starting to suspect that your man is cheating. Surely you are being paranoid, he would never do that. Are you sure though? Gosh he has been acting weird lately. He barely talks to you, and he doesn’t try to get you into bed as much. There are some obvious signs you can look out for if you are truly suspicious. If you suspect he is cheating, and you still want to keep him, then you need to rev up your behavior. Do sweet things for him like cooking a special dinner or getting his car washed. The first thing you should ask yourself is if he is gone a lot recently. He used to be there all the time; he was always home right after work. Lately he has had a lot of late nights with no good explanation. Or blaming it on work and you call the office and he isn’t there. Little differences can alert you to the fact that this could be a sign he is being unfaithful.

Show up to his job on one of his late nights to keep him company. Show up in a trench coat with nothing under it, and make him forget about whoever is meeting him there later. Make his coming home from work a huge deal. Meet him at the door nude, or wearing only an apron with a spoon full of chocolate. Make it so he can not wait to get home to you. Another thing you can do is send sexy text messages to him throughout his day so he is anticipating seeing you later. You can even video chat on his lunch break so you stay fresh in his mind. Is he suddenly interested in different things? Has he been listening to Reggae instead of Death Metal? That is just wrong on so many levels. No matter what he has decided to get into, if you want to keep him get into it too. If he realizes that you can be just as cool as whoever he is messing with, then you may nip it in the bud. Keep tabs on him, tell him you want to go with him to watch football with the boys, or you would love to see the inside of the Barbour Shop.

You will keep him on his toes, and he is going to start to figure out that you know something he though you did not. Of course hopefully you have not let it get to this point. Hopefully you know how to keep your man satisfied so he does not have to stray. You should keep your sex life interesting, and the activities you do together spontaneous. You would love to think that your man would never get bored with you, but nag him too much and see what happens. Just make him happy, that is the best way to keep him from cheating.
