Men are a hard group to figure out. You are always wondering if a guy likes you, or if he says the things he says to you to all the girls. How do you know that guy in the apartment down the hall really likes you, or if he is just being nice? How about the coffee shop guy who always smiles at you when you are sipping your latte? There are some ways to figure it out without having to chance being rejected. Pay attention to his body language while you engage in small talk. Is he talking to you like an old buddy, or do you pick up on him gazing into your eyes and smiling sweetly. If he likes you then it will show on his face. Does he find ways to touch you like touching your arm when walking by, or fixing your tag when it is sticking out?

These simple things could mean he wants to be closer to you.  Does he make a habit of finding a way to talk to you, or go out of his way to let you know about something that is going on that might affect you. You can also ask around and see if he has talked to people about you. If he has been asking around then this is a good sign that he likes you. There are lots of times we miss out on a good guy because we do not pick up that he is flirting and he thinks that we are not interested. If you think someone is just being friendly take a second look at how he acts around you. Can you tell he is watching his manners, and being careful not to say something that will offend you? Does he call you on the phone just to talk, and is he the one who initiates conversation. If he takes an interest in what you are doing, and asks what you are doing this weekend. The fact that he cares what you are in to may mean he is fishing around to see if you have a boyfriend. Now that you have recognized the signs let him know that you are interested. Flirt back with him, and if you get ballsy ask him if he wants to hang out with you this weekend.  Just make sure that you pay attention to him around other girls. Does he act the same towards them? He may just be a friendly guy. You can avoid embarrassment if you do not jump the gun. If you are sure that he is into you then go for it. Hopefully now you will be able to pick up on whether or not a guy is into you.
